McCain: Not Happy with Obama

This past week John McCain and the rest of the world learned of Barack Obama's trip to Germany that drew a crowd of over 200,000 people to see a "black" senator from Chicago. While Obama was in Germany, McCain was in the US barely pulling 20 people in a German restaurant (funny).

McCain's reply to the crowd Obama had in Germany was, "I'd rather give a speech to them as President, not a president nominee." And even though that is true, his response should have been better than that.

So I thought I'd help him on what his responses should be or have been:

"WOW!"

"That's great!"

"He's a good speaker, doing his campaign, and I'm doing mine."

"That's an awesome turn out; but those people can't vote for him."

"I'm not that popular...oh jeez."

McCain has to stick to what got him this far - but running against a popular guy can and will be rough. He is articulate, he is handsome, he is confident, he has ideas, he has a strategy for the country, and winning will make history.

Obama and all Obama-supporters know this - McCain's camp have to think fast! If not we'll never hear of McCain again.

"I'm Not 79-89- nor 99 Cent" say 50

Rapper 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, is suing Mexican "wanna be" fast food restaurant Taco Bell for allegedly using his image and name in an ad where they asked him to change his "stage name" from 50 Cent to 99 Cent.

50 has turn $.50 into a household name within the younger inner-city communities and now plenty of corporate communities. I would be suing because of the insult - "change my name and to 89 cents. Do you know how much the hip hop community will be laughing?" Apparently, Taco Bell doesn't know; thus why I think 50's really suing. It's for the disrespect. A disrespect that could cost the company 4 million in damages towards Curtis Jackson.

-Sources close to 50 said, "His name is 50 Cent, for short people call him "fifty" if he took on the name 79 Cent, what would people call him? Seventy-nine? It doesn't make sense. If you're not going to get permission to use him, at least make it good whatever you do."

I agree.

Cat Fight Ends in Brawl in WNBA

What happens when a 300 lb black man pushes a woman to the floor? He goes to jail. Not in the case with Rick Mahorn, assistant coach of the Detroit Shock, he was ejected. A fight broke out late in the game between Cheryl Ford and Candace Parker.

The fight escalated when Rick Mahorn (former enforcer for the bad boy Detroit Pistons), shoved WNBA star Lisa Leslie. To say she slipped is one thing, but she skid across the floor nearly 10 yards for a first down. People have to understand, Rick is a strong dude. Breaking up a fight is what he did and does.

What it is, is that Rich Mahorn and Bill Laimbeer revisited their Piston bad boy days, if you watch the video you can see Rick on his cell phone calling Dennis (Rodman), Isaiah (Thomas), and James "Buddy" Edwards in for back up (funny).

It amazes me in a country that has training on fire drill, emergency storm drills, etc, yet we don't have a drill to handle a fight or brawl.

Because we know that one person will attempt to stop the fight (we'll call them peacemakers) and while they are trying to stop the fight someone else will perceive it as an attack, and attack the peace maker. Which turns the peacemaker into a defender. A defender can be mistaken for an offender (in a distance 2 people arguing, who's the fool?), which will create another peacemaker, until everyone is on the attack or offensive - kill or be kill mode.

It's basketball, emotions will get going, Rick wasn't out of line - he probably got in the spirit too deep but a man who loves basketball like him and who has 4 daughters isn't going to shove a woman. Now if his daughters start speaking out saying, "daddy would shove us across the kitchen floor," then we can have a different view.

LA went on to win the game.

Church and Concert Same Thing!

Recently Kanye West, hip hop artist and music producer, liken going to a music concert like going to a church service.

Stating that people get dressed up to go to a concert as they do church; they wave their hands in the air (in worship) as they do at church, a preacher preaches a sermon - a rapper raps a message or rap song; and last but not least, you pay big time money to go to a concert as you do sometimes heavily at a church service.

His comparison, although ludacris, is not too far-fetched. Most rappers rap for money insinuating that preachers preach for money (not funny). The interviewer should have asked, "if the bible is the source that preachers preach from, what is the rappers source?"

Perhaps we shouldn't pursue that right now!

If he [Kanye West] can answer that question then we can be looking forward to a universal change in church going from every SUNday to every concert or so. One thing is for sure, preachers and rappers are dressing more and more alike and making similar faces (funny).

Obama is Spending Less

It is reported that Obama is spending less now that he has won the Democratic nomination - and he was reportedly spending less than Clinton (who is $25.2M in debt now).

Chicago Funnies just knew the black characteristics would prevail...you know the one black women give black men such a hard time for. Being cheap! "I'm not cheap, I'm smart, and frugal."

Obama and his crew apparently think the same way. They are spending less and still gaining more ground.

--
Unlike McCain, who spent more than he raised in June, Obama accumulated cash during the month, holding back on a ramped-up television campaign until July. Obama is now matching McCain's and the Republican Party's spending on advertising.

--

McCain is spending more than he raises - and we are still seeing more Obama on TV and appearances than McCain even though he is spending less - being frugal. Obama is reinventing being frugal, even with millions - no one can tell a cheap black man he is cheap. Obama has set the stage (funny).

Special thanks to the Obama committee.
